We are seeing monochrome orders coming in a lot more now and it is a new trendy design for a lot of customers, especially in the kitchen.
White was the power colour for many years, creating a cleanliness and sleek feel that can be dressed up with bold worktops or handles and accessories but the tables have turned! Black is back in power and people are getting bold and creative with their space now.
Design with Ease
Don't be afraid of black doors being too dark. If you have a light and airy kitchen the black will work well. Why not pair the black doors with a woodgrain cabinet for a contrasting look?
The kitchen above is a recent one a customer of our supplied and fitted. They used a woodgrain cabinet t break the colours up a little and to create that stunning pantry. Super-matt Black doors have really set the tone in this kitchen with matching black appliances for a sleek consistency. They have used White granite worktops to lift the space and added a waterfall worktop on the island unit to break the room up.
Be Brave!
Be original, show off your style, and tell your story.
If you don't feel brave enough to go all out, why not have a feature section in your kitchen using the super-matt black doors with the majority in white? You could have an island section in Black, just your wall units or even just the larders and oven housing units in black with matching black appliances.

It is fair to say that the kitchen and bedroom trends change frequently, and everything really does go full circle, but all you need to remember is it is your space and there are no right or wrong when it comes to how you want your space to look and feel.
